Unsure which weight is right for you? I would recommend a weight between 22 and 26 grams as the safest option. These weights are the most common, and will definitely be easy to get used to and throw consistently. If in general you know you have a lighter grip, go for 20 or 22g. Likewise if you know you have a heavier grip, then lean towards the higher end. If you have any questions or are still unsure I’m happy to help, just drop me a message.

How to shop for dartsWhen buying darts you have to be careful as there are lots of substandard products on the market. There are some basic rules of thumb to ensure you are getting a fair deal:Look out for colour and texture. From a manufacturers point of view, adding colour/texture to the barrel of the dart is another step in the production line that of course increases their costs which they are unable to do on their economy ranges. Hence, this is a good way to distinguish a good quality dart. However, you should check the colour appears solid on the barrel inside well-distinguished grooves, not brushed on top with a patchy appearance (common characteristic of poor quality darts).Tungsten material. Tungsten is by far the most common material of good quality darts. Brass darts are used in pubs/social places where people don’t take care of them and are cheap to replace and not worth the purchase of a player. Though, beware a dart may be advertised as tungsten even if it has a minuscule amount of tungsten in it which leads onto the next rule.Be realistic with price. Darts are very much a ‘get what you pay for’ product. You may see tungsten darts advertised for a low price; these are not true tungsten! They will have a very minuscule coating worth nothing just so they can market the darts differently and catch out consumers. You want to look for % tungsten content of 85%-90%. Below 85% are poorer quality, economy darts and above 90% the difference you will notice is negligible. Online, you should look to spend between in the region of 25-30 to get the best value for money. FAQ’sHow long will processing and shipping take? We dispatch the same day as we get the order.
