Two old photographs, together with press cuttings confirming the details, both of Haydock Cricket & Bowls (C & B Recs.) FC players. The older, smaller one has a light vertical crease and shows 8 players, all on Everton’s books at the time in the 1943/44 season, 6 in kit and 2 in civvies. both of whom were recovering from broken legs. The larger picture is a Press photograph stamped 19th April 1951 and was taken at the old Everton training ground at Bellefield before Everton “A”‘s game against Haydock C & B and has the changing room in the background. It has a very slight crease and a couple of edge nicks.
