Everton FC Yellow Away Football Shirt by Umbro for season 1996-97. Size XXL adult and loose fit with short sleeves.Predominantly yellow with thick black vertical stripes all over. A patch of Everton Blue is introduced from shoulder to left side.Stiff turnover yellow collar running down into a black & blue V neck. All details run through the shirt centre with UMBRO (below neck) DANKA sponsor (middle) are part of the material. The badge is in a very large oval embroidered patch between maker and sponsor. Very small EVERTON F.C. at bottom of the shirt.EVERTON lettering shadowed into material and runs opposite in the yellow stripes. Back of shirt is free from print so you could maybe put a past favourite like Gavin McCann, Tony Grant or Danny Cadamarteri. (And you know I had to google that spelling. Not a name to try to say drunk.This shirt was the first version of the shirt with a change of sponsor for season 97/98 with One2One. This version was worn by the aforementioned as well as Duncan Ferguson, Dunne, Phelan, Unsworth, Watson and Barmby.A must have for any Everton memorabilia collectors or just shirt enthusiasts because this was voted amongst the best shirts in the EPL. It is a really nice shirt and Umbro were miles ahead of any other kit manufacturers at the time. Always liked to inject a bit of fun with some LSD style kits but this one was serious.Condition is absolutely like new. No pulls, bobbles, rips or repairs. No stretching, discolouration or stains. From smoke free and clean home. Ready to wear or frame. 9/10Size: XXL adult, Loose fit and short sleeves.
