Since then they've clocked up a record 108 seasons in the top flight and cemented their position as one of the most famous football clubs in the world. Legends such as Dixie Dean (still the only player in English football to have scored 60 League goals in one season), the prolific Tommy Lawton (65 goals in 87 games) and 500-game goalkeeper Ted Sagar gave them early success.
