I am not saying that most of them are not in a collectable condition but as we do this partly for charity i find it a much safer market. I have here for sale a book entitled LIVERPOOL by DIXON SCOTT and illustrated by J HAMILTON HAY. This FIRST EDITION book was published in 1907 by ADAM AND CHARLES BLACK. Beautifully illustrating the historical ties with the shipping and the docks, and much more.
With 25 full-page colour illustrations by J Hamilton Hay.
This book is bound in sage linen boards with gilt title lettering and pattern on the spine. There is title lettering and a highly embossed image on the front board. The endpapers are tanned and have a few pencil marks/notes on them. There is light foxing in this book. There are pencil marks next to some of the text. The page edges are deckled. This book is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 168pp. 21cm x15cm.
