FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you end auctions early? No, never. I value all my customers and this rule gives everyone an equal chance to buy my cards. Please bid on my auctions with absolute confidence that the auction will run to the end with the item sold to the highest bidder.

Do you combine postage? Yes. My customers only pay one shipping cost but they must pay for all their items at the same time. Please do not pay your invoice until you are sure it is correct and you are sure you have finished buying. Feel free to take the time to browse all my items for sale. Invoices must be settled within 7 days.

Is the item in the photo the actual item I am buying? Yes. I never use stock photos. The item in the photo is the exact item you will receive.

Do you have a particular card I need in stock? No. Not at the moment. All of my stock is listed on eBay but I am continually sourcing new material and new items are added on a daily basis.

Do you accept offers? Yes. There is a ‘best offer’ option on all of my fixed price items. I will try to respond to offers as promptly as possible, normally within one hour. There may be a longer delay for international customers and I trade from within the London (UK) time zone. Offers are not accepted on auction items. They are always sold to the highest bidder. Please use the eBay best offer facility for all the items you are interested in. I do not trade off eBay.

Do you offer any other discounts? Yes. From time to time I will run eBay promotions which will be advertised on my fixed price listings. Terms apply to these promotions. You must use the UK version of eBay. (Although the offers apply worldwide). You must add items to a basket/cart and pay for all your items at the same time. Auction items and fixed price items where a ‘best offer’ has been made and accepted do not qualify and can’t be combined with items included in these offers. Any discount is calculated automatically by eBay as you add/remove items to/from your basket/cart.

UK BUYERS pay only 0.85 postage no matter how many cards bought on the same invoice on listings offering this promotion. To qualify buyers must select cards from the drop-down and add to the basket where the postage will be automatically discounted on the invoice. Alternatively if you would prefer to buy the cards individually please request or wait for combined invoice where the promotional discount will be applied. Please do not pay for multiple purchases individually otherwise the full postal promotion will not apply.

For auction single cards issued by Gallaher in 1925 for a series of “Famous Footballers”.

Condition: Mainly very good with the backs commensurate to fronts. Please refer to grading below and scan – which forms part of the description – to judge for yourself.

Overseas buyers please request/wait for consolidated shipping invoice. Payment PayPal only.

MINT The cards must give the appearance of never having been handled, i.e. be in the condition in which they would have come from the printers. Imperfections in the printing process would not affect this (e.g. cards cut slightly off-centre, differences in intensity of ink, marks caused by print defects).

EXCELLENT Cards have been handled but only to a minimum extent and with extreme care, allowing only minor blemishes/imperfections.

VERY GOOD Cards clean back and front, with no damage. Corners and edges might show slight signs of wear.

GOOD Blemishes might be visible, due to handling or age, and there could be softening to corners. No creases or stains visible but possibly slight grubbiness.

FAIR Showing signs of considerable handling and consequential corner or edge damage, cracks or creases, foxing, grubby marks.

POOR A card that is soiled, damaged or badly worn, or with a serious defect, such as back missing or badly cut down in size.
