Charles Buchan’s FOOTBALL Monthly FA Cup Final Souvenir June 1967
This is a piece of 60s football nostalgia – to add to your collection or for lockdown reading!
This edition has a beautiful colour front cover and a number of colour posters amongst its black and white pages – Alan Gilzean, Tommy Baldwin, BILLY McNEILL (Celtic) (back cover), Henry Newton, Gary Sprake, Marvin Hinton, Dave Mackay (Spurs). It focuses on the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Spurs and provides details of both teams’ route to the final.
Most of this issue is in good condition with some minor creasing on spine and slight scuffing to cover edges and some rust on staples. There is one page where a coupon/rectangle has been cut out (see photo) and another where the young reader doodled on some pics, filled out a puzzle and completed name and address in an entry form. This adds something to its authenticity (!), please only bid if you are happy with this.
