Official Everton training sweatshirt worn by Alan Stubbs during his second spell with the Merseyside club as a player.  It is well used with bobbling on both sides and the odd mark on the outside.  It was probably used for a whole season by the man himself.  The badges are all in good condition and it features a large Le Coq Sportif emblem on the back.  It is an adults extra large size and still has plenty of wear left in it.Alan Stubbs started his career with Bolton, playing for them over 200 times during the early 90’s.  He moved to Celtic in 1996 for 4 million pounds which was a record signing for the Glasgow club at the time.  He scored a vital goal for the Hoops during the 1997/98 season when he equalised against Rangers in injury time to make the score 1-1.  This kept Celtic within close distance of their fierce rivals in the league.  Celtic would go on to overtake Rangers, winning the Scottish Premiership title.  It was the clubs first league title since 1988 and even sweeter it stopped the domination of Rangers who were hoping to win their tenth title in a row. After a battle with Cancer, Stubbs moved back to England to play for Everton.  He made 124 appearances for them during his first spell.  He captained the side and guided them to 4th in the Premier league after finishing 17th the season before.  A short spell at Sunderland would follow before returning to Everton in 2006 where he made another 45 appearances even at a ripe old age.  Once retired he would go on to coach at Everton and he is now manager of Hibernian in Edinburgh.  He helped take the club to the play offs this season and also the Scottish Cup final against Rangers.  A true gentleman, class act through and through.  He may go onto much more success in the future as a manager!
