This is one of a set of 13 6-inch Subbuteo figures produced by Royal Doulton for Millennium Collectables in 2004.
Each figure in the core set of 12 represents one of the original figures made by Subbuteo and was made in a limited edition of only 500. The 13th figure, that of the Brazilian national side, was made in a very limited edition of 100 and was given free to those who pre-ordered the full set of 12 regular figures. It goes without saying that the Brazil figure is hard to find and the most valuable of the lot.
The figure for sale in this listing, is the all-red figure which can represent Chelsea, Everton and Ipswich among others.
It is 162 of the 500 created. Like each of the figures I have for sale, it was never displayed, comes with box and certificate of authenticity which amount to the full complement of original accompaniments.
Postage is 5.10 by ROYAL MAIL 48-HOURS.
