In 1995, Merlin released a football series covering all the Premier League teams of the year and as expected, Pogs quickly became the currency of the playground and beyond. Players would take turns to throw a heavy plastic disc at a stack of cardboard Pogs and would then keep the Pogs that flipped upside down. Once the stack had diminished, the player with the most Pogs would win. Hence many are worn on the edges and are often set spoilers. Each set consisted of the club badge on a silver foiled background and 11 player pictures. Pogs in sets are Extremely Rare Football Memorabilia and a Brilliant Collectable for any football fan.
ON OFFER HERE IS A VERY RARE FULL SET OF EVERTON POGS The Everton team in 1995 was as follows:
Neville Southall – Andy Hinchcliffe – Dave Watson – Gary Ablett – David Unsworth – Ian Snodin – Vinny Samways – Anders Limpar – Paul Rideout – Stuart Barlow – Daniel Amokachi
These make a Super and Unusual gift – they will spark many memories for any Football Fan.
Please Pay with PayPal.
Please Note: The pictures showing the Leicester team and Checklist are to show how I send the pogs in proper storage plastic sleeves and card backed envelope, which I have to buy in. Sometimes the plastic sleeve will have been carefully sellotaped together (page offcut) and the envelope cut to size (to save postage cost). Also, you can see what a set of Pogs looks like in a cheap frame. You DO NOT get the Checklist or the Frame.
I ALWAYS obtain Proof of Posting.
Thank You for looking and Good Luck with Your Bidding.
